If a Recipient’s Choice meal is purchased, we will call them to notify them that a meal has been purchased. We can also email if that is preferred.

If a Gift Certificate is purchased, we will either mail or email the certificate depending on which method is selected by the sender.

You may redeem your gift certificate on the checkout page. There is a link above the billing details section – ‘Have a Coupon or a Gift Certificate? Click here to enter your code’. Click this link and enter your gift certificate number. You may then click the certificate(s) when it appears in this area to apply to your total.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver on the weekends, however we deliver Monday-Friday between the hours of 3pm & 6pm. For a weekend meal, we recommend delivery for Friday and reheating when you are ready to enjoy.

For all local deliveries made by couriers all deliveries will be made between 3-6 pm Monday through Friday. Overnight deliveries made by UPS should be made between 11 am and 6 pm.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver on the following holidays:

  1. New Years Day
  2. Memorial Day
  3. July 4
  4. Labor Day
  5. Thanksgiving Day
  6. Christmas Day

All out of state orders and some distant Georgia orders are shipped via UPS. All local/Metro Atlanta orders are delivered via courier.

Yes, you can design your own meal by changing side items. There may be an additional charge for substituting a deluxe item for a standard item.

All orders must be ordered by 3pm the day prior to your desired delivery/pick-up date.

Our meals require reheating. Please follow the recommended reheating instructions that come with every meal.

Yes, the foil pans are oven/microwave safe, but the plastic lids must be removed before reheating in the oven.

No, all meals are made fresh, refrigerated, and then delivered to your door in an insulated cooler bag. We do recommend that you are at home to accept delivery to insure the freshness of the meal by immediately storing the items in your refrigerator. If you are not home, your meal will be left for you.

There is a difference in menu options, as well as, price. The Deluxe Meals are our upgraded menu options, and the Standard Meals are our more basic, home-style menu options.

With at least 48 hours notice we can design a meal to fit within your dietary needs.

Yes, we would simply need a credit card at the time of order for any additional charges.

If you have a question regarding a charge on your credit card please feel free to contact us by phone to discuss @ 404-351-7171. If you dispute any charge with your issuing credit card company our merchant service company automatically charges us a $15.00 fee. Therefore if your dispute is our error we will absorb the fee; however, if the dispute is your error we will have to transfer that $15.00 fee back to you. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Yes. Tax is applied to all orders other than gift certificates and out of state shipments. Delivery fees apply to all orders that are not picked up at our location. The delivery fee and tax is determined by the zip code the meal is being delivered to.

If a gift meal (Recipient’s Choice) has already been fully redeemed, when you enter the Gift code on the Recipient’s Choice screen, you will receive a message that reads “Sorry, this Recipient’s Choice Code has already been redeemed for all meals.”

Gift certificates and Recipient’s Choice codes expire one year from their date of issuance at which time a new certificate code maybe issued to the named recipient and a 20% administration fee will be applied. Service fee policy applies to all subsequently issued codes and all codes hold no value after five years. Valid Gift Certificates maybe cancelled by sending a request to sales@insteadofflowers.com. Cancellations are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.  Gift Certificates and Recipient’s Choice codes are not redeemable for cash. Redemption value not to exceed the purchase order price.

Incorrect information entered during checkout or placing of an order such as incorrect address, incorrect email address, or incorrect contact phone numbers or recipient’s name may result in delay of your delivery or your meal not being delivered at all.  Please call or use our chat feature to immediately correct any error(s) you feel you may have entered during checkout.

Instead of Flowers is not obligated to replace/refund any orders that are delayed due to incorrect information provided at checkout.
